1. Where do we fly into the Dominican?

​

You can fly direct with WestJet into Punta Cana from November-May.  Air Canada is yearly but you may have to fly into Toronto first from Calgary. The Punta Cana airport is 40 min away with a taxi. You can also fly into La Romana which is 10 min from Pups and Paradise.

 

2. How will we get from the PC airport to Pups and Paradise?​

We can arrange a taxi with a driver that is trusted and responsible.  

 

3. How much will the Taxi cost from PC airport to Pups and paradise?​

It will cost around 5000 Domincan Pesos.​

4. What currency is used in the DR?

It is best to exchange your money to Domincan Pesos, they also do take US dollars but it will cost you more money.

 

5. How far from the beach is Pups and Pardise?

It is 5 min with the Golf Cart, our caretaker and security will drive you there for a fee of 500 pesos.

 

6. How safe is it at Pups and Paradise?

It is extremely safe, we have two security/care takers, a perimeter wall, cameras and of course dogs!

Bayahibe is considered one of the safest towns in all of the Dominican!

 

7. Do you have a pool? 

Yes, we have a pool and it is 3 feet deep. It's great for a dip or a float, it is also made for the dogs so invite them in!

 

8. What excursions are in Bayahibe?

We have connections to multiple trusted excursions, which we can also set up for you!

 

9. Is there a grocery store near by?

Yes Mias is very close anout a 8 min gold cart ride, and again Peterson can take you for a fee of 500 Dominca Pesos.

 

10. What if we want to go into La Romana to Jumbo for a big grocery trip?

No problem, we can set up a trusted taxi, who will drive you and even wait for you.

 

11. Do you have Wifi?

Yes we have Wif, netflix, Prime and a fire stick.

 

12. Where are the dogs on the property?

The dogs stay outside but will go into the caretakers house when raining. They also hace a hurricane proof kennel which we are just about done building.

 

13. Can the dogs come into the house we are staying at?

Yes feel free to invite them in!

 

14. Can we walk the dogs and play ball with them?
We encourage you to be social with the pups, they will love it!

15. Does the security caretaker speak English?

Yes, peterson speaks, spanish, french and some english!

 

16. What restaurants are around?

There are many types of restaurants 5 minutes within the golf cart!

 

17. How far is domincus?

Dominicus is about a 15 min golf cart ride. Peterson will take you there again for a minimal fee and arrange to pick you up.  You can also go with a taxi. Dominicus has a beautiful beach!

18. Can we adopt a dog from Pups and Paradise?

Yes, you can, if you live in the USA it is possible but a process. If you are from Canada you are allowed to bring a personal pet to Canada as the owner of the dog. So yes!
